Here is a visual representation of your prayer and financial support at work, as our Haiti ministry connectors, Marinou and Santiago, receive a much-needed motorcycle.

But it’s what this 1 motorcycle represents that should encourage us immensely.

It represents much by the way of “good word and work:”

  • 114 churches served in rural locations, often 50-70 kilometers off-road.
  • Faithful, impassioned trainers provided reliable transportation, expanding their ministry reach while increasing their personal safety.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Thessalonica,

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.” (2 Thess. 2:16-17)

And so, we plead that the Lord might graciously continue to supply and use Empowering Action for His glory.

Charles Spurgeon commented on these verses:

“God has given us much, and all his past gifts are pleas for more gifts.
Men do not plead so.
The beggar in the street cannot say, ‘Give me a penny today because you gave me one yesterday,’ else we might reply, ‘That is the reason why I should not give you any more.’
But when dealing with God, this is a good plea.”
