Join us on Saturday, October 28th from 5-8 pm at McLean Bible Church for an evening of food, fellowship, worship, and a briefing from Empowering Action’s Program Directors:
- Carlos Pimentel – Country Director
- Raydel Riquelme – Church Network Development
- Madelines Riquelme – Family Life Development
- Esperanza Ramirez – Abundant Life Poverty Reduction Program
This is a tremendous opportunity to not only learn about recent developments and future plans with EA’s initiatives in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti, Kenya and Costa Rica, but also gain a basic understanding of the biblical basis for EA’s church-based poverty alleviation efforts, and how you can partner with us financially, as well as experientially, through short-term service trips.
We would love for you to join us, to be encouraged and enlightened, as we “declare God’s marvelous deeds among His people.” (Psalm 96:3)
Please RSVP and bring your questions, along with any friends, family and colleagues who might be interested in supporting and learning more about Empowering Action’s gospel-centered efforts, to combat physical and spiritual poverty in partnership with the local church.
Our In-Country leadership team will be here in Northern Virginia from October 28th to November 2nd, and we welcome additional opportunities throughout that time for similar gatherings to provide an overview of EA’s mission, vision and strategy. So please don’t hesitate to contact me regarding any such opportunities to expand our network of supporters.
