Kent Husted helped to launch Empowering Action in December 2012. He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University, a Masters of Business from The Johns Hopkins University and a Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before being called to EA, Kent served in student ministry for 20 years in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Numerous short-term mission trips around the globe were the impetus to form Empowering Action.
